A 1980s acrylic and gouache on paper painting by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). This abstract work depicts a landscape painted in pastel colors with green, pink, and blue hills under a pale blue sky. Signed to the lower right, the painting is unframed.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
