A Danish Mid Century Modern desk designed by Svend Åge Madsen for Sigurd Hansen. Composed of rosewood, the desk holds two box joint drawers with inset finger pulls that open to reveal storage space and a pen rest. The dapper desk is nestled and affixed within a stand on four legs with an "H" stretcher. The interior of one drawer displays the maker's tag.

40.5" x 30" x 27.5".
Condition notes:
Age appropriate wear, scratches, and scuffs throughout the finish of the piece. The interior drawer has ink markings upon the pen holder. Key is included for the locking drawers. Small chip on the desk near the right top leg. Chip to the handle of the right drawer.
