A signed studio pottery jar by American artist Richard Tuck (1948-2013). This bulbous jar is glazed in a neutral, tan color, with brown line designs. The lidded vessel is organically shaped with a cork lid. The underside is signed "R. Tuck."
Richard Tuck was born in Virginia and attended the Fort Wayne Art Institute in Indiana. He studied ceramics and received a certificate in sculpture.
Measurements:
7” x 7” x 5” (with cork), 7” x 6” x 5” (no cork).
Condition notes:
Some minor wear to cork due to age. Some other age appropriate wear.
