A 1950s ceramic planter designed by California artists Charles and Alice Smith of Chalice. A gestural illustration depicts figures in motion on the full exterior surface of the work. Signed "Chalice" to the bottom edge.
Measurements:
8.5” x 9.5” x 8.5”.
Condition notes:
Scuffs, scratches and marks to the surface due to the matte nature of the black glaze. Discoloration and crazing, most prominently to the teal glaze interior. No chips to the ceramic body.
