Dorothy Hafner Rosenthal “Flash” Postmodern Creamer and Sugar

A 1980s Postmodern ceramic Flash creamer and sugar designed by American ceramist Dorothy Hafner (born 1952) for Rosenthal. Geometric designs accent the sides and handles of the creamer and sugar. Each piece is marked to the underside.

Ceramist and glass artist Dorothy Hafner completed her graduate work at Skidmore College in 1974. She has designed tableware for Tiffany & Co., Neiman Marcus, and Rosenthal. Hafner's works are featured at the Smithsonian American Art Museum.

5” x 3.5” x 1.5” (creamer); 4” x 3.75” x 2” (sugar).
