A 1959 ink drawing by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Signed to the upper center, the drawing depicts Ginger, Hilson's dog, lying on a striped floor. Dated to the lower right, the drawing is displayed in a black wooden frame and cream mat.

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.

Condition notes:

Minor scuffs to frame. Paper is torn and missing small sections at three corners. Some spotting present.
