The piece has a neutral brown and white glaze and is signed to the underside. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlan Wallwork attended England's Newlands Park Teacher Training College and Goldsmith in London. Wallwork studied ceramics, printmaking, and painting. Taking two part-time jobs after college, Wallwork taught art and pottery, before opening his own studio, The Alan Gallery, with fellow alumni. Wallwork was the only Goldsmith student to sell artwork successfully, so the studio closed shortly after opening.
