A 1972 signed abstract oil on board by artist Alice Gordon. Interlocking planes of textured black, pink, white and yellow planes overlay a more complex under layer of frenetic purple, orange, green, blue and yellow brushstrokes. Signed "Gordon 72" to the bottom right corner and verso. The painting is displayed in a gray wooden frame.
Measurements:
22.5" x 1.25" x 29" (frame); 17.5" x 23.5" (sight).
Condition notes:
Separation between the corners of the frame. Scratches, scuffs and wear to the frame. Some loss of color and craquelure present to the surface of the work.
