A 1976 limited edition lithograph titled, Black Spot, by American artist Amanda R. Block (1912-2011). The lithograph depicts a black rectangle adjacent to a bundle of organic green and blue shapes that hover over a pink, red, and orange linear bar. The lithograph features a gray wash background with a gold tone border and is presented upon fabric within a metal frame. Titled, numbered "5/10", and signed to the lower portion of the print.
Amanda R. Block began her art career at the Art Academy of Cincinnati, Ohio, and eventually went on to finish her BFA at the Herron School of Art in Indianapolis, Indiana where she later became a drawing and lithograph instructor. Block became well-known for her large landscape expressionist work but ultimately proved her complexity as an artist through her figural art. Block's work has been included in numerous national exhibitions, private and public collections, and one-man shows.

Scratches and scuffs to the frame. There are some discolored scuffs/marks in the glass. The paper of the lithograph doesn’t lie flat in the frame.
