A 1998 limited edition serigraph titled, Genetic Tales, by Italian architect and designer Andrea Branzi (b. 1938). Printed as part of a series for Alessi, this limited edition serigraph is part of a series of six prints and two vases. The print depicts a plethora of sketched blue floating heads upon a white field. The serigraph is presented behind white mat in a natural finished wood frame. The print is signed and numbered "431/999" to the bottom center and includes an embossed "Alessi Genetic Tales Branzi" marking.
Andrea Branzi is an Italian architect, author, designer, instructor, artist and founder of the Domus Academy in Milan. Branzi earned his degree from the Florence School of Architecture in 1966. He along with Paolo Deganello, Massimo Morozzi, and Gilberto Coretti, founded the collective movement Archizoom Associati in 1966. After opening his personal studio in the eary 80s, Branzi began associating with Studio Alchimi and the Memphis Group. Branzi has collaborated with several Italian manufacturers, including but not limited to Acerbis, Alessi, Artemide, and Cassina.
