A 1965 abstract oil on board painting by American artist Beni E. Kosh (Alias Charles Elmer Harris, 1917-1993). The abstract painting depicts overlapping brown, green, and white forms and lines against a tan background. The painting is mounted in a wooden box frame. Signed "Beni Kosh", titled Jeu Sept and dated "65" to the bottom right corner.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1917, Charles Elmer Harris later changed his name to Beni E. Kosh, meaning "Son of Ethiopia". Kosh studied at the Cleveland Institute of Art and later worked with the “Sho Nuff Art Group”. His work was unrecognized during his lifetime.

Condition notes:

Loss of color/chipping to the paint around the edges of the board. Minor discoloration throughout. Overall age appropriate scratches, scuffs and marks to the frame.
