A blue and green Italian ceramic box by Bitossi. This box features alternating light blue, dark blue, and green horizontal stripes. Embossed squares border the box on the sides. The box is signed to the underside “4583 Italy”.
The Bitossi pottery company has been making quality ceramics since 1871. Their factory was created in 1921. In 2014, Bitossi was established as a historic brand by the Historical Italian Company.

8” W x 2” H x 4” D (lid and box).
Condition notes:
Age appropriate scuffs, scratches, and wear. Remnants of felt on the underside. Lid appears to have chips on the underside that have been painted teal and small chips to the exterior that are also painted teal. Other age appropriate wear.
