An Arteluce "Ring" A400 red desk lamp designed by Italian designer Bruno Gecchelin (born 1939). Made in Italy, this vibrant red lamp extends at a 45° angle. The maker's mark is present near the bulb and switch and reads "Arteluce Ring A400 Design Registered Made in Italy."

Bruno Gecchelin was born in Milan in 1939. He began designing furniture, decorative items, and lighting in 1962. Gecchelin has received many rewards for his work in design, including the ”Lampada D’Oro” in 1980, the BIO/Lubiana in 1982 and 1988 and the Compasso D’Oro in 1989 and 1991.

19” x 15.5” x 10”.

Condition notes:

Age appropriate wear. Scuffs and scratches, most notably on the lamp arm and base. Small chip on the base. The lamp is in working condition.
