A 1956 ceramic vase designed by the Swedish ceramic artist and designer Carl-Harry Stålhane (1920-1990) for Rörstrand. Made in Sweden, this "alphabet vase" model SOU, features multiple shades of brown and dark orange. The piece is marked with the Rörstrand three crown mark and “Sweden,” “CHS SOU” to the underside.

Painter and ceramist Carl-Harry Stålhane was the artistic leader for the Swedish company Rörstrand in the 1960s. He is well-known for his creative, high quality ceramic designs that are highly sought after by collectors.

Condition notes:

Small discolored scuffs to the exterior. Minor wear to the underside. Some lines in the unglazed portions. Marked as a factory second quality.
