Daniel Gaumer Signed Art Glass Compote

A signed art glass compote by American glass artist Daniel Gaumer. Signed to the underside, this compote features a turquoise circular base with pate de verre glass spikes. The top of the compote is wide and white with a silver tone rim.
Daniel Gaumer was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania and studied at the Philadelphia College of Art. His works utilize the pate de verre method, where crushed glass is put into a mold and is fired at high temperatures before being attached to the main glass piece.
