David Roth 1979 Signed Limited Edition Serigraph
A signed limited edition serigraph print by the American artist David Roth (born 1942). Signed to the lower right and dated 1979, the print features a grid of colorful dots in a range of colors. Unframed, the print is numbered 100/150.
Born in New York City, Roth studied under Harry Callahan and Aaron Siskind at the Illinois Institute of Design. In the 1960s, he designed a series of poster poems with Alan Ginsburg, Michael McClure, Robert Creeley, Robert Olson, and Louis Zukofsky. Roth also participated in exhibitions at the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, and the Cleveland Museum of Art.
