A studio pottery lidded vessel by American artist Dee Schaad. Signed “Schaad” to the underside, the vessel is glazed in a brown and mustard yellow. There is ribbing down the entirety of the vessel, giving it texture and the lid is adorned with a looped handle.
Dee Schaad was born in Nebraska and received an MFA from Hixson-Leid College of Fine Arts at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. He taught ceramics at the University of Indianapolis for 39 years.
