Dennis Loy 1972 Signed “Abstraction” Abstract Wall Assemblage
A 1972 abstract wall assemblage by the American artist Dennis Loy (1939-2012). Signed and dated "Loy 72" to the largest piece, this wall assemblage is composed of a biomorphic central piece and four small round blue circles and a single yellow circle. Each piece is cut from a piece of plywood and painted in bright vibrant colors with various patterns and shapes.
42" x 42" x .5" (largest piece); 7.75" x 7.7" x 1" (two blue circles); 6" x 6" x 1" (two blue circles); 4" x 4" x 1" (yellow circle).
Signs of wear present. Heavy scratches and scuffs present. Some cracks present to the edges of the wood. Some chips to the paint. Discoloration present.
