A signed studio pottery bowl by artist Eselean Goree Henderson (1917-2004). This bowl has a white outer glaze and a blue inner glaze. The blue glaze covers the rim. The bowl is signed “E. Henderson” to the underside.
Eselean Goree Henderson studied at the Art Institute of Chicago. Other potters looked to her as their teacher and mentor, including Marva Pitchford Jolly. She was a nationally acclaimed potter for over 35 years.
Measurements:
5.5” x 3.5” x 5.5”.
Condition notes:
Crazing present. Some bubbles to the glaze.
