A signed studio pottery vase by artist Eselean Goree Henderson (1917-2004). This vase has been fired with a speckled white glaze with a blue drip glaze at the top. The vase is signed “E. Henderson” to the underside.
Eselean Goree Henderson studied at the Art Institute of Chicago. Other potters looked to her as their teacher and mentor, including Marva Pitchford Jolly. She was a nationally acclaimed potter for over 35 years.
Measurements:
5.5” x 9.6” x 5.5”.
Condition notes:
Some age appropriate wear. Some chips to the underside, chips appear to have been made when vase was removed from kiln.
