Harry Hilson Cubist Style Abstract Ink Drawing of Two Figures


A Cubist style abstract ink drawing by American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). This work is comprised of black ink and depicts two figures to the left of the composition with abstracted linework surrounding them. Unsigned, the drawing is displayed in a wooden frame and a white mat. 

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.

Age appropriate wear to the frame. Some spotting at the top and towards the center of the drawing.
