Harry Hilson Signed 1960s Watercolor and Ink Abstract Painting


A 1960s ink and watercolor painting by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Signed to the lower right, the abstract work depicts an array of brushwork in black, red, and yellow with circles and other geometric shapes accenting the work throughout. The drawing is displayed in a black frame and a white mat.

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-2000. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, and more. His studios could be found in New York, Los Angeles, and Aspen.
