A 1961 abstract ink and watercolor drawing by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Signed and dated to the lower center, the drawing features an array of stacked rectangles filled with arrows, ladders, and biomorphic shape designs. The drawing is displayed in a black frame and a white mat.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
