A 1961 signed abstract ink and watercolor painting by American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Signed and dated on the bottom right corner, this work is comprised of orange, yellow, brown, and black repeated designs. The painting is displayed in a brown metal frame and an off-white mat. 

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.

Condition notes:

Minor and minimal scuffs and scratches to the frame. Some bucking to the paper on the right side of the artwork.
