A 1961 abstract ink painting by American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Signed and dated on the bottom edge, this work is comprised of orange and black ink repeated designs. The painting is displayed in a black and gold tone wooden frame and a white mat.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
