Signed and dated to the bottom edge, this abstract work features a grid-like arrangement of shapes and designs in orange and black. The drawing is displayed in a black and brown wooden frame and white mat.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
