A 1962 signed drawing by American artist Harry Hilson. Gestural strokes are used to create an abstract black and white design in ink. Signed "Hilson" to the lower right and dated 1962, the drawing is displayed in an off-white mat and a wooden frame. 

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-2000. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, and more. His studios were found in New York, Los Angeles, and Aspen.

35.5” W x 30.5” H, 1” D (frame), 23” x 17” (sight).

Condition notes:

Minor damage to the backing paper of the frame, overall age appropriate scratches, scuffs and marks to the frame. Spot discoloration on left side of the drawing and some toning to the paper.
