Signed to the bottom right and from the artist's City Series, this stretched batik features an array of structural shapes in orange, green, and brown, with black outlines. The piece is displayed in a black wooden frame.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-2000. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, and more. His studios could be found in New York, Los Angeles, and Aspen.
