Harry Hilson Signed 1980s Acrylic and Charcoal Abstract Landscape Painting


A 1980s acrylic and charcoal on paper landscape painting by American artist Harry Hilson. Rhythmic brushstrokes come together to form a vibrant view of a floral filled prairie grounded by distant mountains and a teal sky. Signed to the bottom right, the painting is presented behind a white mat and in a gold tone metal frame. 

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-2000. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, and more. His studios could be found in New York, Los Angeles, and Aspen.

Condition notes:

Age appropriate wear, scuffs, and scratches to the frame. There is some paper remnants stuck on some of the painting.
