Harry Hilson Signed 1980s Acrylic on Panel Abstract Landscape Painting


An abstract acrylic landscape painting on wood panel by American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Gestural lines come together to create a vibrant abstract landscape with a mountain on the horizon and a flowery field in the foreground. Greenery is depicted across the otherwise brown mountain, with blue, orange, and green splatter forming flowers. The painting is signed to the lower right and displayed in a black frame. 

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-2000. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, and more. His studios could be found in New York, Los Angeles, and Aspen.
