A 1990 abstract acrylic on paper mountainous landscape painting titled, Symphony of Chaos, by American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Gestural lines come together to create a green, pink, orange, brown, and blue abstract landscape. A green and pink cloudy sky is in the background. Unframed, the painting is signed to the bottom right corner, as well as titled and dated verso.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
