Harry Hilson Signed “About Noon” Abstract Ink Drawing


A 1960s ink drawing by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Titled About Noon, the drawing depicts an abstract landscape with a small sun high in the sky. Signed to the lower right and titled to the lower left, the drawing is displayed in a cream mat and a gold tone frame.

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-2000. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, and more. His studios could be found in New York, Los Angeles, and Aspen.
