Harry Nadler 1960s Pastel on Paper Figural Abstract Drawing
An abstract pastel on paper drawing by listed American artist Harry Nadler (1930-1990). Drawn during the early 1960s, the piece depicts an abstracted human form with pops of color throughout. Displayed in a black frame with white mat. The drawing is signed on the verso.
Originally from California, Nadler studied at UCLA and later taught at New York University, UCLA, the University of California Los Angeles, the Brooklyn Museum Art School, Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, and the University of New Mexico. Nadler exhibited widely during his lifetime and his works are held in the collections of the Guggenheim Museum, the Detroit Museum of Art, and the Pennsylvania Academy.
