A black and chrome Fjords Ona recliner lounge chair and ottoman produced by Norwegian company Hjellegjerde Møbler. Composed of a black bent wood cantilever base and black leather upholstery, as well as the chrome arms, this sleek chair is a welcome addition to any sitting area. Marked “Hjellegjerde Møbler” to the underside of both the chair and the ottoman.

The company's furniture manufacturing started on a small scale in 1941 in the cellar of the Hjellegjerde family in Sykkylven, a fjord village in Møre and Romsdal, Norway. Brothers Otto and Mindor Hjellegjerde were the original founders. The company continues their commitment to craftsmanship and quality today.
