A mid-century oil on masonite board non-objective painting by American artist Howard Baer (1906-1986). Most likely painted during the 1960s, the painting depicts layers of orange, yellow, and gray painted in a thick impasto. Signed "Howard Baer" to the lower right, the painting is displayed in a wooden frame.
23.25" x 12.25" (board); 30" x 19" x 2" (frame).
Signs of minor wear to the finish, some discoloration to the linen liner.
