A vase by Italo Casini. Made in Italy, this emerald green vessel features a volcanic rock-like surface which is irregular, porous, and highly textured. The mouth of the work is gilded. Such gilding also adorns additional areas of the work. Interspersed throughout the composition are smooth, circular areas which stand out due to their glossy finish and abstract, hand illustrated designs. Stamped "Italo Casini Italia" to the underside.

Condition notes:
Imperfections including loss of color due to the textured nature of the glaze. Crazing throughout. Heavy cracking to the gold portions of the work. Overall age appropriate wear.
