A 1960s "Tubo" chrome and glass coffee table designed by American furniture designer John Mascheroni (born 1932) for the Vecta Group in Italy. This square coffee table has a tubular chrome frame and a transparent glass tabletop.
John Mascheroni reported in a 2022 interview with Designer's Today that the Tubo design remains the favorite piece from his career. Beginning in 1966, the design utilizes 3" aluminum pipe, as to appear silver but not have the same "coldness" as stainless steel. This specific design is also part of The Museum of Modern Art's collection today.

Condition notes:
Surface scratches and scuffs to glass and chrome. Wear to glass area that sits on the chrome pegs. Small chip to the surface.
