A signed abstract oil on board painting titled Marble Quarry on a Mediterranean Island by Yugoslavian artist Ljubo Biro (1913-1994). Signed to the lower right corner, as well as signed and titled verso, this piece depicts an abstract scene of a marble quarry in muted colors. Light green, blue, cream, brown, and red are used to paint a serene scene. The painting is displayed in a black wooden frame.
