A lithograph after a drawing by the modern artist Pablo Picasso (1881-1973). This piece depicts a portrait of an abstract figure and is displayed in a gold tone wooden frame and a white mat.
This lithograph was pulled from the publication Le Goût de Bonheur, a collection of lithographs faithfully reproduced from three of Picasso's sketchbooks drawn in 1964. Printed in 1970, this collection had 666 limited printings from the three publishers Harry N. Abrams, New York: Editions Cercle d'Art, Paris; and Carl Schünemann Verlag, Breman for a total of 1,998 copies. Several proofs and some Special Albums were printed as well. The printing was done in the studios of Guenther Dietz in Munich and was personally supervised by Picasso. This particular print came from set no. 603 published by Harry N. Abrams.
13.75" x 17.75" x 1" (frame); 6.5" x 9.25" (sight).
Minor wear to the frame. Some scratches and scuffs to the frame. There is a small crack in the frame.
