Pablo Picasso 1970 Lithograph After Drawing from “Le Goût du Bonheur”
A lithograph after a drawing by the modern artist Pablo Picasso (1881-1973). This piece depicts a portrait of an abstract figure smoking a cigarette and is displayed in a orange-brown wooden frame and a cream mat.
This lithograph was pulled from the publication Le Goût du Bonheur, a collection of lithographs faithfully reproduced from three of Picasso's sketchbooks drawn in 1964. Printed in 1970, this collection had 666 limited printings from the three publishers Harry N. Abrams, New York: Editions Cercle d'Art, Paris; and Carl Schünemann Verlag, Breman for a total of 1,998 copies. Several proofs and some Special Albums were printed as well. The printing was done in the studios of Guenther Dietz in Munich and was personally supervised by Picasso.

Overall age appropriate scratches, scuffs and marks to the frame. Other wear to the frame including some separation at the corner.
