American artist Peter Plagens studied at the University of Southern California (BFA, 1962) and Syracuse University (MFA, 1964). Known for decades of abstract formalist paintings, Peter Plagens' life passion has played out as an art critic, novelist, painter, and art instructor. He has received a multitude of major recognitions and fellowships among well known American art institutes and foundations.

Some discoloration to the paper. Scratches and scuffs to the frame and plexiglass. There is a small tear in the paper on the edge. There are a couple of faint/slight crease marks in the paper.
