A studio pottery plate by the American ceramicist Richard Saar (1924-2004). Made in California, the plate is teal in color with an abstract teal and black design of leaves. The underside of the plate is signed "Saar."

 

Measurements:

9” x .75” x 9”.

Condition notes:

Some age appropriate wear including some scratches and scuffs. Some discoloration present. There is small chip in the glaze along one of the leaf designs.
