An abstract acrylic on canvas landscape painting by American artist Rosemary Burkholder (1921-2001). Displayed in a black frame, this vibrant work depicts a mountain range on a cloudy day. Warm hues of pink, green, yellow, blue, and purple contrast with the black linework on the mountain range. The painting is unsigned.
Rosemary Burkholder attended the Cincinnati Art Academy, completing studies with artist Paul Chidlaw. She focused on watercolor, oil, and acrylic painting, creating impressionistic landscapes and later influenced to paint Cubist-inspired interiors.

Condition notes:
Some scuffs to frame. There is repair to the canvas near the bottom center. A diagonal wire is attached to the verso to help correct a torque in the stretcher. Age appropriate wear.
