Sachiko Furui Japanese Woodblock “The White Mountain”


A Japanese woodblock titled, The White Mountain, by Japanese artist Sachiko Furui. Influenced by the traditional dyeing art Katazome, the woodblock print depicts a rendition of the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The print is presented behind white mat in a wood frame and is titled to the lower left. Furui's chop mark is present in the print to the lower right. 



13” x 16” x 1” (frame); 5” x 7” (sight).
