A vintage drawing by the American mid-century artist Thomas King Baker (1911-1972). This stylized portrait shows a woman with short, curled hair from a three-quarter view. Displayed behind an olive green mat in a wood and gold tone frame. Baker was known for his works made on scrap paper; often from banks or insurance statements. 



10.25” x 12.5” x .5” (frame); 2.75” x 4” (sight).

Condition notes:

Rip to the corner of the page under mat. Otherwise age appropriate scratches, scuffs and marks. Portrait drawn by the artist on scrap paper (typical of the artist's style), which has notes on the backside that are visible through the work.
