Timo Sarpaneva for Iittala "Festivo" Glass Candlestick Holders

A set of three Festivo glass candlestick holders designed by Finnish designer Timo Sarpaneva (1926-2006) for Iittala. Marked "TS" to the underside of the smaller holders, the larger holder mimics their design. The smaller holders have two bands, while the larger has three.
Timo Sarpaneva graduated from the Institute for Industrial Arts in 1948 and later received an honorary PhD from the university. Sarpaneva was hired by Iittala after competing in an art competition for the company in 1951. He received the Pro Finlandia Medal of the Order of the Lion of Finland, among other awards and accolades.

3” W x 5.5” H x 3” D (large holder); 2.75” W x 4.75” H x 2.75” D (single small holder).
