$550.00
A limited edition abstract lithograph by Pop Art Italian artist Valerio Adami (born 1935). Titled Mon Atelier (My Studio), this work depicts an artist in his studio. A light hangs over a figure who stands at a desk in this abstract work. The color scheme for the composition is muted in shades of brown, red, yellow, and green. Signed to the bottom right and numbered to the bottom left "36/75," the print is displayed in a white mat and silver tone metal frame.
Valerio Adami has been a painter since he was 10 years old, when he began studying under the Italian painter Felice Carena. While born in Bologna, his professional career was strengthened by his move to Paris in 1955. Adami's signature style of Neo-cloisonnism had developed by the eve of his second solo show in Germany in 1964. Since then, Adami's style has remained consistent and evocative of changing cultural ideals, politics and aesthetics.
