Vern Rader Signed Non-Objective Ink and Marker Drawing


A non-objective drawing by American artist Vern Rader (1924-2017). Signed to the lower right, the drawing features a network of lines in black ink filled in with green and blue marker. The drawing is displayed in a black wooden frame and a white mat.

From Ohio, Vern Rader studied art at the École des Beaux-Arts in Fountainbleau, France. He later went to the University of Cincinnati to study design where he studied under the American designer Russell Wright. Rader went on to become the art director at Proctor and Gamble.
