Vern Rader Signed Non-Objective Marker Drawing


A non-objective marker drawing by American artist Vern Rader (1924-2017). This bold marker drawing features a black network of lines with colorful circles against a blue background. Signed to the lower left, the drawing is displayed in a black wooden frame and a white mat.

From Ohio, Vern Rader studied art at the École des Beaux-Arts in Fountainbleau, France. He later went to the University of Cincinnati to study design where he studied under the American designer Russell Wright. Rader went on to become the art director at Proctor and Gamble.
