Fong Choo Signed Studio Pottery Teapot

A signed studio pottery teapot by the Singaporean ceramic artist Fong Choo. This teapot exhibits a small round shape with a stubby spout and curved handle. The round lid is removable and the glaze is speckled with pale green, sienna, and cream. The underside is marked with the artist's chopmark. 

Fong Choo has been a studio potter since 1985 and holds a Master of Art in Ceramics from the University of Louisville in Kentucky. He is currently an adjunct professor at Bellarmine University and exhibiting artist. Choo has focused on teapots for the last ten years.
